BACC_AGM 2026 Cursillo Leaders Workshops Report
Over the course of the last year two workshops have been held, both at the Wistaston Oblate and Retreat Centre near Crewe. One on October 2025 and the most recent in March 2026. A total of 27 participants attend one of the courses along with 7 different members of staff. The quality of discussion on both weekends was excellent, but following feedback the content of the programme for the March 2026 weekend was amended to good effect.
I am grateful to the staff teams who gave of their time so freely to assist, and the staff team at Wistaston could not have made us more welcome, and managed an interesting selection of dietary requirements!
Across the two weekends it was pleasing to have contributions from St Asaph & Bangor, Durham, Ely, Leicester, London, Southwell and Notts, Leeds, Sheffield, St Albans, Oxford, Chichester, Peterborough, Chester, Coventry and York dioceses together with a representative from Scotland.
